Hada Labo Gokujyun Hydrating Milk Review

Since I selalu rasa product Hada Labo okay, I pun try lah beli this Hydrating Milk. So this is my review lepas dah pakai for almost 4 weeks.

I bought this from Shopee, Mymentholatum official store. Kat sini memang barang Hada Labo sometimes lagi murah kalau sale. Normal price RM59.90, I bought it for only RM32.95, free postage. For me, it's so worth it!

Ingredients:
It contains some humectants and emollients which is suitable for dry skin. No fragrance, no alcohol.
However, aprylic/capric triglyceride is derived from coconut oil so it might cause irritation for some people, and also paraben which some people are sensitive with it.

Packaging
. This is the best packaging for me. It's in a bottle so it is hygienic, tak perlu celup celup macam jar. Biasanya kalau moisturizer in a jar packaging, it won't keep the anti-oxidant stable bila dah terdedah dengan cahaya dan udara. Lagi lagi kalau celup jari, lagi lah tak bersih. Kalau pakai spatula, okay lah. I also like the cap is attached so tak perlu risau hilang. Yang penting, dia tak opaque, means still boleh nampak ada berapa banyak lagi product ni tinggal. So for me, this is the best packaging for a moisturizer.

Texture. The texture is not as thick as a cream sebab dia milk. I like my moisturizer in milk texture sebab dia tak thick and melekit macam cream and sometimes kulit rasa berpeluh. Milk is just nice for me. Kalau pakai siang, tak rasa melekit sangat. Kalau pakai malam, nanti topup je dengan any sleeping mask so dah cukup dah moisturization. The formula is great for dry/combination skin tapi kalau kulit yang berminyak tu, maybe akan jadi melekit and greasy. Unless duduk aircond lah kot.

Scent. Good news, it does not contain fragrance. So the smell is like natural gitu macam Hada Labo yang lain.

My thoughts

I bought this since I don't really fancy other Hada Labo's moisturizers, majority dalam jar and expensive (RM100 kalau tak ada sale) (Average price around RM60+-). But I really wanted to try this Hydrating Milk since I love the packaging and looks interesting.

It reminds me of MUJI Moisturizing Milk. Review here: MUJI Moisturizing Milk Review

The texture and scent is almost the same, however MUJI is wayyy cheaper. RM32.90 for 200ml compared to Hada Labo RM59.90 for 90ml.

I like how it moisturizes my skin, rasa cukup, and I like the stickiness tapi dia ambil masa sikit nak absorb. Kalau siang nak pakai sunscreen, kena tunggu around 5 mins nak bagi dia dah fully absorb. Amboi banyak nya masa I nak menunggu. Sempat buat benda lain dulu.

It's nice, tak breaks me out, I like how it feels on my skin. Tapi sometimes kalau pakai malam and tak pakai sleeping mask or night cream, rasa not enough for my dry skin.

It's good if you have dry skin, or nak try a good moisturizer and tengah sale, this is a good option sebab senang je nak beli. Any Watsons or Guardian memang ada. Just be careful dengan ingredients if your skin ada sensitive dengan mana mana ingredients. Patch test first sebelum apply satu muka.

Pros: Hygienic packaging, no fragrance, no alcohol
Cons: Longer time to absorb, quite sticky and greasy if you have oily skin, quite expensive kalau tak ada sale

Overall. This is a good moisturizer for dry/combination to dry skin. It may not be enough for very dry skin and might be a bit greasy for oily skin.

That's all, thanks for reading!
