Why hydration is important and how to keep your skin hydrated?

Selalu tak rasa kulit kering, kadang kadang luar rasa berminyak tapi dalam rasa ketat and tegang? Ada kemungkinan kulit korang sebenarnya dehydrated (tak cukup air).




Ada beza kulit dry dengan dehydrated. Apa beza dia?

Biasanya, 

Dry skin = Kulit tak cukup menghasilkan minyak, jadi kulit kita rasa kering
Dehydrated skin = Kulit yang tak cukup air

Dry skin = Jenis kulit / skin type
Dehydrated skin = Masalah kulit / skin concern

Kalau nak tahu jenis kulit kita (skin type), biasanya kita tengok banyak mana kulit kita hasilkan minyak (sebum production).

Terlebih minyak = Oily skin 
Minyak yg balance = Normal skin 
Kurang minyak = Dry skin
Ada yang berminyak, ada yang kering = Combination skin

Tapi dehydrated skin, semua jenis kulit mungkin ada masalah ni. Ada yang oily skin tapi kulit dia tak cukup air. Minyak banyak tapi air tak cukup. Tak balance. 

Dehydrated skin ➡️ Increased sebum production ➡️ Kulit jadi lagi berminyak

Kalau dia tambah hydration, kulit pun rasa balance, maybe boleh kurangkan minyak dekat kulit muka.

How to know kulit kita dehydrated? 
Bila ada wrinkles, smile lines, rasa tight, flaky, and nampak kusam

Antara faktor dia ialah our skin barrier dah terganggu ataupun environment. Duduk dekat tempat yg low humidity, terlalu kering atau asyik dalam aircond. UV exposure pun salah satu punca dia. So, pakai lah sunscreen!
