Another sunscreen comparison post! For today, I'm going to compare between Biore UV Watery Essence, Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence and Skin Aqua UV Watery Essence. Why? Sebab nama dia ada "Watery Essence" so rasa macam lebih kurang sama je kan. And semua brand daripada Japan.
For this blogpost, I'm going to refer Biore UV Watery Essence as "Biore", Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence as "Sunkiller", Skin Aqua UV Watery Essence as "Skin Aqua"
Similarities:
All are SPF50 PA++++ which is a very good sun protection kalau duduk Malaysia. Semua 50ml. Semua ada tulis "Water Essence" and semua botol warna biru. Lebih kurang sama je kan?
Price:
Packaging
All three have the same exact packaging with same quantity. And semua warna biru.
Texture and finishing
For your reference, I have dry skin.
Biore: Cooling sensation upon application, quite greasy at first and absorbs complete into the skin, leaving a smooth feeling but quite drying and irritates my skin.
Sunkiller: Quite tacky and doesn't absorbs completely into the skin but it is really moisturizing for my skin. Love! It is quite thick compared to the other two.
Skin Aqua: Not as drying as Biore and not as tacky as Sunkiller. Dia macam in the middle.
All three have a no / very minimal white cast tapi Sunkiller maybe ada sikit white cast sebab dia ada physical filter tapi tak nampak sangat if you have lighter skin tone.
Scent
Biore: Mild citrus scent
Sunkiller: Quite strong citrus scent
Skin Aqua: No noticeable scent
Which one I like the most?
For me personally I like Sunkiller because it doesn't contain alcohol and very moisturizing for me. However, the citrus scent is quite strong. If you have very sensitive skin, maybe tak sesuai. Again, it depends on your skin jugak.
