Hada Labo Gokujyun Hydrating Lotion review

This is one of the famous product from Hada Labo. I only bought the small size je.

Product Name: Hada Labo Gokujyun Hydrating Lotion
Product Brand: Hada Labo
Product Type: Toner
Size: Normally 170mL, mine is 30mL
Price: Normally around RM50-RM60, mine is around RM12.
Where to get? Watsons, Guardian, any pharmacy and hypermarkets.

What it claims?
- Combines 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid to deeply hydrate skin, help preserve its optimum moisture balance, and prepare skin for enhanced skin care ingredients absorption.
- Contains Small-size Hyaluronic Acid which seals the gap of Medium-size Hyaluronic Acid to form a high density moisture barrier on skin surface to restore skin moisture.
- Helps to imprive dehydrated skin
- Rich in texture. Suitable for dry/normal skin.
- Skin pH balanced.
- Low irritation.
- Free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant.

How to use?
Use after cleanser and first treatment essence. Kalau rajin, I'll tuang the product atas cotton pad and dab dekat muka. Kalau malas, tuang dekat tangan pastu pat (tekap tekap dekat muka)

The packaging:
In a transparent plastic bottle with a twisted cap. Boleh nampak la isi dalam dia and kalau jatuh, tak pecah.

The colour/consistency/texture:
It's colourless, just like plain water however the texture is quite thicker than water. Quite sticky tapi absorbs quickly so tak rasa sangat melekit tu.

The scent:
No scent. Sebab dia fragrance free. I like it.

Ingredients
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether, Dissodium Succinate, Methylparaben, Sodium Hyaluronate(Medium -Size HA), Succinic Acid,Methyl Glucose Ether, Sodium Acetylated Hyluronate (Super HA), Hyaluronic Acid (Nano HA), Sodium Hyaluronate(small-size HA).

Ingredients analysis

Butylene Glycol - Texture enhancer, safe to use in cosmetics products

Glycerin - Helps maintain a healthy look and feel, defending against dryness

Hyaluronic Acid - Boost skin’s moisture content, soothe, and defend against moisture loss. Capable of holding up to 1000 times its own weight in water. A great hydrator!

Sodium Hyaluronate - Salt form hyaluronic acid. Considered more effective for skin than pure hyaluronic acid due to its greater compatibility.

Methylparaben - Preservatives. Gentle, non-sensitizing, and highly effective, compared to other preservatives. They were also derived naturally from plants. I'm ok with paraben, but some people yang takut guna paraben sebab takut cancer, kan? For me, okay je.

How I feel:
Honestly I bought this sebab nak beli moisturizer. Masa tu moisturizer habis and I tak ada dekat rumah. So pergi 7 Eleven, I saw this product, two for RM12. I trust Hada Labo so I beli. Bila try, apasal tak macam moisturizer. Rupanya in Japan, lotion tu macam toner. So, jangan tersilap macam I k? Takpelah, belajar dari kesilapan.... But that was like few months ago...

So anyways, I love this toner. It is really hydrating! I suka bila pakai tu, rasa kulit absorbs everything and rasa kulit very supple, takde dry patches, pedih pedih sebab kering sangat, semua hilang. Terus rasa lembut je kulit. I seriously love this, and I akan pakai everytime rasa kulit kering sangat duduk dalam aircond ke, seriously best! Tak pedih langsung, no irritation, and kulit rasa soothing je bila pakai.

It's free from alcohol (paling penting) sebab alcohol is very drying on my skin and I pedih dengan alcohol. And dia tak ada bau, fragrance free. I memang tak suka skincare I bau wangi sangat. Suka yang bau biasa biasa je. Tapi yang ni bau macam gam sikit, I don't know. Tapi ok je. I suka.

If you have oily/combination skin, try yang light punya warna hijau ni. Yang merah tu sesuai for normal/dry skin.

Recommended?
If you're allergic to paraben, or takut nak guna paraben, then avoid this product. If you're okay with it, then this product is so good! I really recommend this product as a hydrating toner!

That's all, thanks for reading!
