Hello! Today I nak review another local brand yang I excited sangat nak share (sebab dia pink :P) which is Nature’s Palette! Currently they only have one product which is the CeraMica Skin Balancing Essence.

  What it claims? 

1. Balances visible sebum activity 

2. Minimises appearance of enlarged pores 

3. Improves skin texture 

4. Soothes irritated skin and acnes 

5. Hydrates skin 

6. Strengthens skin barrier 

7. Helps maintain a youthful and glowing skin

Full ingredient list:
Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sodium PCA, Panthenol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Triethanolamine, Ceramide NP, Allantoin, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Star ingredients:
1. Galactomyces ferment filtrate - Good to strengthen skin barrier, brighten the skin, regulate sebum production and also can reduce acne.
2. Niacinamide - One of my fav ingredients that can also balance the sebum activity, minimize the appearance of pores, improve skin barrier, and also for brightening.
3. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5

Kalau based on Paula's Choice website, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5 is one of the best ingredient for calming, smoothing, hydrating and untuk firmkan skin. Lepastu boleh reduvce undereye puffiness sekali.

4. Ceramide NP

Also one of my fav ingredients. One of the best ingredients to repair your skin barrier. Packaging: 

It comes in a 50ml bottle with a rotating cap and airless pump. Tak payah ada penutup, pusingkan je bottle ni and keluar lah dia punya pump. Great packaging untuk orang macam I yang selalu hilangkan penutup. Dah tak payah risau. Nak bawa travel pun senang sebab dia tak leaking, tak risau tumpah.

Texture

Lightweight colourless gel texture. Tak heavy, and absorbs so well into the skin leaving a nice glowy finish without any stickiness or greasiness.

How to use this?

Since I have dry skin, I guna as additional hydrator.

Cleanser - Hydrating toner - CeraMica Skin Balancing Essence - Serum (kalau ada) - Moisturizer - Sunscreen (AM)

However if you have oilier skin type, I think it's good as a moisturizer too! You can use it like this if you want a very basic skincare routine:

Cleanser - CeraMica Skin Balancing Essence - Sunscreen (AM). Malam tu kalau nak extra and add other product (toner, serum, etc etc) okay je.

My thought on Nature’s Palette CeraMica Skin Balancing Essence

The first time I saw the ingredient list, I can feel that I like it. Takde alcohol, takde fragrance, takde essential oil or any other irritating ingredients. Lepas tu ingredients dia semua power power to repair the skin barrier. Tak ada claims merepek, nak cerah nak putih gebu ke apa. Focus memang untuk healthy skin and repair skin barrier.

It's good to calm down the skin and reduce redness. Kulit I selalu rasa kering and sometimes ada redness, I can see that the redness improve. As for it claims, balances visible sebum activity? Yes, kulit jadi lagi balance, tak terlalu kering, tak terlalu berminyak. If you have veryyyy oily skin or veryyyy dry skin, this might be a good product untuk regulate balik the sebum production supaya balance sikit kulit tu. Secondly, it claims to minimises appearance of enlarged pores. I don't have a very large pores so I don't really notice the differences on me. Improves skin texture? Yesss! Dry patches pun dah reduce, pakai makeup pun makeup lagi smooth and bumps pun takde. Soothes irritated skin and acne? Yesss for soothing irritated skin. Especially kalau rasa malam tu I nak exfoliate and takut over exfoliate, this one is good to add the hydration supaya barrier tak terganggu.

Hydrates skin? YES. But I also use a hydrating toner so I don't really depend on this product for hydration but it's good to boost the hydration. Strengthens skin barrier? Yesss! Lastly, helps maintain a youthful and glowing skin? This one I agree part glowing sebab a well hydrated skin and bila skin barrier dah strong, kulit akan nampak lagi glowing tak kusam. 

Overall, this is a good product if you want a healthy skin and it is suitable for beginners yang baru nak start skincare routine jugak, or if you have sensitive skin, and you want to repair your skin barrier. Pendek kata, for a healthy skin lah. 

This product is not for you, if you are sensitive with any ingredients listed above, or if you have fungal acne. However, fungal acne is very rare and can only be diagnosed by doctors, bukan self diagnose lepas korang baca daripada google, okay? This is also not for people yang nak putih gebu, nak terus flawless dalam masa 24 jam, ataupun yang nak result yang cepat.
