THE FACE SHOP Dr. Belmeur Advanced Skincare Review
My favourite line from THE FACE SHOP is Dr. Belmeur. It is skin friendly ingredient and similar to our skin structure. And currently, they have three ranges that you can try depends on what your skin needs :)

2. Dr. Belmeur Clarifying. This range is targeted for those with oily and acne-prone skin. I haven't tried this range yet.
3. Dr. Belmeur Advanced is for improving damaged sensitive skin due to environmental stress which is what I am going to review in this post.
Dr. Belmeur Advanced Range
Dr. Belmeur Advanced range uses unique technology of Skin Sync Rx™, which contains a trio of star ingredients to moisturize, soothe and strengthen skin.
1. Ceramide: to improve your skin barrier. 3. Centella Asiatica Extract: (contains Madecassoside & Asiaticoside): regeneration of damaged skin. It also soothes the skin, as I mentioned in this post about soothing ingredients: https://www.imanabdulrahim.com/2018/11/soothing-ingredients.html
The products from this range are formulated without 8 additives which are synthetic pigments, artificial fragrance, triethanolamine, mineral oil, bensophenone-3, ethanol, tallc and benzoic acid. They are delicately-scented with a 100% natural citrus-floral fragrance, however, some people can't tolerate with these essential oils. As for me, I am completely okay with them. It is dermatologically tested and completed skin irritation test on improving fine scratches & skin barrier.
I received 3 products from the Dr. Belmeur Advance Cica Recovery range which are their Ampoule, Serum and Cream.
Dr. Belmeur Advanced Cica Recovery Ampoule 45 ml (RM165)
It comes with a dropper and the texture is very light.
Use this after applying your toner. It absorbs nicely into the skin without any sticky or greasy feeling. I also like the refreshing scent. From the website, they also suggested to use this with a cotton pad. Damp the cotton pad with Dr Belmeur Daily Repair Mineral Salt Toner with a few drop of Dr. Belmeur Cica Peptite Ampoule onto a cotton pad and place it on the affected areas of you skin. Secondly, you can mix a few drop of Dr. Belmeur Cica Peptite Ampoule & Dr. Belmeur Advanced Cica Recovery Cream to smothen the cream texture to create emulsion alike texture.

I love the pump packaging since it's more hygienic and easy to use.
The texture is quite thick for a serum that I normally use. This is almost like a lotion-light cream texture. If you have oily skin, I think you can use this as moisturizer as well, because of it's light texture.

The texture is very thick, almost like a balm and a little goes along the way. I was a bit sceptical when I saw the texture since I'm afraid it is going to be very greasy because it looks so thick. However when I applied it on my skin, it absorbs nicely and makes my skin feeling moisturized without the greasy feeling. This moisturizer has become my everyday moisturizer and I really love how my skin feels.
