Sharing my thoughts on Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence Review.
What it claims?
Based on wishtrend's website, it is for all skin types, low irritant daily sun essence. 20 types of ingredients, no additives, all components EWG green level. A perfect sunscreen made by Klairs for sensitive skin. The absolute UV protection to choose, use and trust on your skin everyday. A water-based sunscreen, that is non-sticky, light, and fresh. With its soft, light and transparent finish the Soft Airy UV Essence protects the skin from UVA and UVB without any stickiness and white cast. Absolute protection to UV rays, that your skin is exposed daily. From face, body to hands, apply it anywhere with your concerns of photo-aging. The texture and ingredients do block the pores, making it more convenient and comfortable to cleanse your skin. By including high light stability components, high UV stability is achieved while minimizing skin irritation.

How to use this?
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 3 hours when exposed to sunlight.
Packaging and design
It comes in a 80ml white plastic tube with a grey metallic screwable cap. I always love Klairs packaging because it is so simple and straight forward.
Scent
A very mild citrus scent.
Texture and formula
It's between cream and gel texture. Not a thick as cream but not as light as gel texture. It feels slightly greasy upon applying but it absorbs quite fast with no white cast and no sticky feeling. It also goes well under my makeup and didn't make my skin feels tight and patchy.
My thoughts
When I saw Klairs is launching a new sunscreen, I was excited because I always love Klairs product and this sunscreen specifically mentioned about no whitecast and no alcohol. This is a chemical sunscreen which is great for people who hates the white cast and greasiness from physical sunscreen. Since I have dry skin, I would pretty much avoid sunscreen that has no alcohol. I still need to use a moisturizer underneath this sunscreen but I like how this sunscreen doesn't makes my skin feels tight or dry.
It also didn't cause any irritation or redness to my skin. However, please do a patch test if your skin can't tolerate essential oils. As for me, I'm okay with them.
I am not sure whether this is a waterproof sunscreen but it's a great sunscreen for everyday use since it comes in 80ml which is quite big than most sunscreen in the market. Overall, I am so happy with this sunscreen!
