Hello! Finally another skincare review. Well this is not really a review sebab baru pakai both around 2 weeks, so this is more like first impression review.
ABOUT YELLO SKINCARE
Yello Skincare is a local Malaysian brand founded in 2016. Product Yello yang paling famous is their Oatmeal Turmeric Mask Scrub (OTMS). Yang ni memang best seller, ramai sangat claim boleh kurangkan breakout and acne.

Oatmino Refreshing Cream Cleanser: This cream cleanser is formulated to remove dirts and excess oil without stripping the skin of essential moisture. It is packed with 15 types of Amino Acids and multiple hydrating ingredients. It features gentle surfactants to effectively cleanse without disrupting the skin barrier, leaving skin soft and fresh.
Oatellia Exfoliating Gel Cleanser: This gel cleanser is formulated to dissolve pore-clogging impurities with dual-action exfoliating formula. It features AHA and BHA to control acne breakout, excess oil, blackheads and whiteheads. It is supported by soothing ingredients to minimize skin irritation, leaving skin with smoother and clearer complexion.

Basically, both tak ada irritating ingredients like alcohol, fragrance, essential oils and sulphates. Kalau dulu dulu, memang susah sangat nak cari cleanser yang tak ada semua benda ni, especially yang takde irritating ingredients, fragrance, and sulphates tu memang selalu ada dalam cleanser. I try to avoid them sebab I have sensitive skin but it also depends on the formulation of the product. Kalau ada fragrance sikit sikit dalam cleanser, okay lah sebab lepastu kita bilas kan.
Tapi kalau takde, lagi bagus. Macam both cleansers ni, I like! Both guna gentle surfactant, buat cleanser berbuih tapi tak pedih, both ada oatmeal extract yang best untuk soothe skin inflammation and strengthen your skin barrier. Sebab tu nama dia OATELLIA and OATMINO.
Oatellia: Oat + Camellia (Camellia Sinensis is green tea) - Ni I rasa je tau, tak sure betul ke tak hahaha
Oatmino: Oat + Amino Acids (Sebab dia ada 15 types of amino acids)
Yang beza dia, Oatellia ada Salicylic Acid (BHA) and Lactic Acid (AHA). Tapi AHA yang digunakan dalam cleanser ni tak tinggi sangat rasanya je sebab dia dekat tengah tengah list. The main exfoliating ingredient is from the 2% Salicylic Acid. Salicylic Acid is good if you have acne, breakout, excess oil or blackhead. It may cause purging because it is a chemical exfoliator.
In my personal opinion, 2% salicylic acid is quite high, especially if you are a beginners. Tapi disebabkan product ni wash off, kita bilas lepas guna, dia tak stay lama atas kulit. Kalau leave on macam toner or serum, kena berhati hati sikit. Lagipun, cleanser ni formulated with soothing ingredients jugak, takdelah dia exfoliating sahaja. Apa apa pun, make sure you already have a basic skincare routine, you know how to hydrate your skin and patch test first before guna.
Boleh guna Oatellia every day tak?
Boleh try guna dua/tiga hari sekali dulu, untuk tengok how your skin react. Kalau rasa okay, you can use it everyday, recommend sekali sehari, waktu malam sahaja. Siang siang guna lah Oatmino sebab Oatmino is a gentle cleanser, guna setiap hari pun boleh.
Kalau pregnant atau breastfeeding, boleh guna Oatellia tak?
Since it contains 2% Salicylic Acid, kena berhati hati. Normally doctors suggest untuk tak guna Salicylic Acid above 2% especially in leave on products (toner, serum etc). For me, kalau nak selamat, I tak guna during pregnancy especially in my first trimester walaupun dia hanya cleanser, lepastu kita bilas. Better safe than sorry. Apa apa pun, consult with your doctor dulu, okay?
PACKAGING
Oatmino Refreshing Cream Cleanser: It comes in a 150ml flip cap tube. I suka warna pastel yello dia, cantikkk. Tapi tulisan dekat bottle dia warna putih, a bit susah untuk baca details on the bottle. Kena focus betul betul haha. Semua details ada tulis dekat bottle and packaging. Lengkap!
Oatellia Exfoliating Gel Cleanser: It comes in a 120ml twist-lock pump dispenser so takdelah tumpah atau tertekan bila bawa travel. Boleh lock. Details semua ada dekat box and bottle, and senang nak baca. Warna orange dia pun cantik!
TEXTURE AND SCENT
Oatmino Refreshing Cream Cleanser: It has a white creamy texture, foamy (berbuih) cantik bila campur dengan air. It has a milky-oaty scent sikit, tak bau wangi, bau sedap berlemak yang tak strong.
Oatellia Exfoliating Gel Cleanser: It has a transparent gel texture and it foams nicely jugak. Both bau lebih kurang sama, bau berlemak tapi tak strong sangat.
THOUGHTS / FIRST IMPRESSION
Oatmino Refreshing Cream Cleanser: I use this cleanser everyday, AM and PM. I really love the texture, it's creamy and rasa best cuci muka pakai this one. Lepas cuci muka pun tak rasa ketat, pedih ataupun kering. Kulit rasa bersih, lembut and selesa. It is low pH (kulit manusia memang slightly low pH so lagi bagus guna cleanser yang low pH supaya tak ganggu our skin barrier). It has low to medium cleansing power, sesuai untuk orang with dry/combination/normal skin type, people with damaged skin barrier, or yang prefer mild gentle cleanser for everyday use.
Overall, both are good and serve different purpose so boleh pilih yang mana lagi sesuai for your skin.
