Flatlay Partea | The Butterfly Project
Hello! Dah lama sebenarnya nak share about this Flatlay Partea class that I joined last month!
Sebab utama I join mestilah sebab I nak belajar buat flatlay cantik cantik! Selama ni flatlay I semua I tak puas hati sangat. Edit gambar tak berapa nak reti, nak susun flatlay pun takde seni eh susahlah orang yang takde seni ni haha.
So when I got the opportunity from Butterfly Project to join this class, of course lah I kena join to improve my content creating.
It was a small group session je, with 15 people. Ramai ramai nanti susahlah nak belajar and focus kan. I suka kelas kecil kecil ni sebab senang nak tanya kalau tak faham.

So, flatlay ni apa sebenarnya?
An image taken straight down from the top. Kalau nak diikutkan, ambil gambar angle 90 degrees. Kita highlight object dekat surface. Kalau lagi accurate, Teacher Azrin ajar guna camera setting dekat iPhone supaya dapat the exact 90 degrees angle. Oh banyak nya yang I baru belajar! Haha.
7 tips from Teacher Azrin:
1. Think of your thing: Tahu apa kita nak shoot, branding, tema, nak warna scheme yang macam mana. For me, I personally minat yang clean, background warna putih pastel gitu je.
2. Lay down your background. Pilih nak background macam mana, fabrics, kertas warna warni, manila cards.
3. Pop your props. Part ni I paling lemah sekali, taktahu nak letak props apa. Dulu dulu I letak je barang atas background, shoot, siap. Tapi sebenarnya props pun penting jugak! Pilih props yang sesuai dengan tema kita, asalkan dia tak lagi menyerlah daripada main product kita. To be honest, I am still struggling with this part sebab tak tahu nak letak props apa.
4. Change and arrange. Ni depends on the size.
5. Dating with the handsome lighting. Cari lighting yang natural. Cari reflector supaya tak nampak bayang bayang bila ambil gambar. I guna simple cardboard warna putih je.
6. Keep it natural and simple. Jangan crowded sangat.
7. Have loads of fun!
Balik rumah, terus I setup tempat nak shoot flatlay, of course lah tepi tingkap yang ada natural lighting!
